David Harbour Reveals Taylor Swift Sent His Stepdaughter a "Handwritten Letter" at the Eras Tour

The "Stranger Things" star has revealed that he took his stepdaughter to Swift's concert on June 9 in Minnesota, and he shared that Swift made the experience even more special by sending a personalized note. In an Aug. 17 interview on the "Happy Sad Confused" podcast, Harbour shared that he "had to call in a lot of favors" to procure tickets, but that the event "was pretty extraordinary."

"We went to Minneapolis because it was the only weekend we could go see it and I love Minneapolis," he said, though he didn't specify which stepdaughter he took to the event. "It's a real music town, too, like Prince. People are really there to see the concert as opposed to Instagram the concert, so it was like a perfect place to see it. I did say as we went in, 'If there is an opportunity to say hello . . .' And they said, 'She's leaving on a plane right after the concert.' We sat there for about 30 minutes of the opener and then a woman came out with a letter. It was addressed to me and my stepdaughter, and it was a handwritten letter on a particular stationery. I've never seen my stepdaughter speechless."

He added that Swift even gave him and his stepdaughter a tiny shout-out during the show. "[Taylor] did say in the letter at one point, 'I'll give you a wave from the stage,'" Harbour continued. "And at one point, during the beginning of one of her numbers, she did turn to our little booth and [waved]."

The actor went on to elaborate about how impressed he was by Swift's performance. "She is a force of nature," he said. "I didn't really have any idea, it's not really my . . . my thing was Madonna," he said. "I saw Madonna concerts, I saw Guns N' Roses concerts. Seeing her perform for three-and-a-half hours, that's like 45 songs. She barely leaves the stage, I don't know when she pees. It's ridiculous — she's a force of nature."

Harbour became a stepdad to his wife Lily Allen's two daughters, Ethel and Marnie, in 2020.

Sweeney was spotted on Aug. 9 at Swift's final LA show at SoFi Stadium. She wore a denim skirt and cowboy boots, per Vogue, in a seeming homage to Swift's early days.

Kloss was spotted at the Eras Tour in Los Angeles on Aug. 9, per Page Six. Her appearance shocked many Swift fans, as Kloss and Swift were famously extremely close friends in the early 2010s, though they haven't made public appearances or shared photos together since 2016. Swift also reportedly wasn't at Kloss's wedding to Joshua Kushner in 2019, leading many fans to theorize that they had a falling-out. However, Kloss has repeatedly emphasized that the pair are still friends.

The star proudly showed off their Eras-themed friendship bracelets in a series of Instagram Stories posted on Aug. 9. Halsey also shared a video of Swift during the concert, along with the caption, "I love 1 (one) woman."

Gomez brought her 10-year-old sister, Gracie, to an Eras Tour show on Aug. 8 in Los Angeles. The "Good For You" singer shared a video of her and her little sister hugging during the show, plus a snapshot of her arm covered in friendship bracelets she received from fans.

Richie Grainge reposted a photo from the Aug. 7 show on her Instagram Stories where she posed with Flavor Flav. She included a clip of her dad Lionel Richie's hit song "All Night Long."

Rapper Flavor Flav attended the Eras Tour in LA on Aug. 7. It was actually his second show; he also attended the June 9 show in Detroit. For his June show, he dressed in all red in honor of "Red (Taylor's Version)," but for the August show, he wore a custom "Midnights" denim set, complete with silver stars.

"Taylor Swift and the Eras Tour is force of power that registers on the Richter scale,,, Im honored Taylor, her family, and her team would have me back out to experience this cultural movement," he wrote on Instagram. "And Man,,, I gots to meet Taylor's parents,,, wow!! I wish I had gotten a picture with them."

Flav also thanked everyone who helped get him to the show and made it such an amazing time, adding, "Most of all,,, many thanks to every fan who came up to me to exchange brackets, take photos, and show your boy some love. The fans are the best part of this experience and I appreciate all y'all."

Kaling attended the first night of Swift's LA shows, and according to her Instagram post, it "was everything!" Kaling wrote, "@haimtheband set the tone by destroying in their home town and then @taylorswift, well, did her bejeweled thing and 70,000 of us were like 'how can we know every single lyric to 5 hours of songs?'. There were no highlights. It was all highlight. Just be happy I'm not posting the video @katelinden took of me screaming along to 'Delicate'. Thank you Tree and Taylor!"

In another post, shared on Aug. 8, Kaling posted a photo carousel featuring her daughter and wrote, "Thank you so much @sofistadium and @taylorswift for the best first concert EVER for my daughter, Kit! She swapped friendship bracelets all night and got to hear her favorite Taylor song live, Cruel Summer! It was such a magical night."

King shared Instagram photos from her time at Swift's Aug. 5 show in Los Angeles, which featured shots of her with Tatum, Keys, and Brown. "Saturday night! @taylorswift in LA w/fav daughter @kirbybump! Our 4th Taylor concert together over the years & she has taken things to another level!" King captioned the carousel of pictures. "A round of applause to @channingtatum & @karomobrown who went all in!"

Vergara attended the Aug. 5 concert in LA with friends Anastasia Soare and Norvina.

Alba brought her entire family — husband Cash Warren and kids Haven, Honor, and Hayes — to Swift's Aug. 5 show in LA.

Josh Gad proved once again that he's a cool dad when he took his daughter to the Eras Tour. The dad of two (Ava and Isabella), shared on Instagram that he attended the July 28, Santa Clara, CA, show. While he didn't say if he took one or both of his daughters to see Swift, he did make it clear that he was on dad duty. "It's me. Hi. I'm the Dad. It's me," he captioned a photo of himself in the packed stadium.

In a second post, he shared a snap of Swift dressed as his "Frozen" character, Olaf, alongside the caption, "I cede Olaf to @taylorswift. She is the Queen and it's time for me to step aside after seeing that concert last night."

On July 29, Swift's friend Gigi Hadid attended the Eras Tour in Santa Clara alongside makeup artist Patrick Ta. In his post, Ta revealed that Hadid scored an impressive amount of friendship bracelets at the concert.

Garner documented her Eras tour experience on July 8 in a sweet Instagram post that featured photos and videos from the first night of Swift's stop in Kansas City, MO, the day before. Alongside a snap of her posing with opening act Gracie Abrams, the actor wrote in a caption, "@gracieabrams and @taylorswift: a match made in heaven. 👯‍♀️ We swooned for you, Gracie! And our minds are still blown by the generosity of spirit, ferocity and stamina of Taylor Swift."

Garner also gave a shout-out to the Swift fans who gave her dozens of colorful bracelets to rock during the show, which she called "the unofficial release party of both 'Speak Now (Taylor's Version)' and the music video for 'I Can See You.'" "Epic night. ✨💜," she concluded.

The couple attended night two of Swift's Kansas City tour stop on July 8, per The Kansas City City Star. According to the outlet, Brittany posted about the pair's evening out on Instagram and captioned a photo of them, "Just being Swifties."

On July 3, the actor documented her time at Swift's show in Cincinnati, Ohio. Alongside a series of photos from the concert, Collette wrote on Instagram, "Thank you @taylorswift for the MOST INCREDIBLE night last night‼️🙏🏻 Your talent is immeasurable and your generosity boundless. The talk show host and mom of two had an emotional night at Swift's New Jersey show Memorial Day weekend, and shared photos from the evening in an Instagram carousel after the fact.

"@taylorswift I cried so hard when you sang welcome to NEW YORK," she wrote. "I moved here not knowing where my life was going. And I actually found myself so happy in this chapter. The Tellers were joined by "Inventing Anna" star Julia Garner at one of Swift's three New Jersey tour stops at the end of May. Garner even had a dance session with the "Top Gun: Maverick" actor.

The former Green Bay Packers quarterback attended Swift's Eras tour at his new team the New York Jets's home stadium: MetLife in New Jersey.

The Today Show host snapped photos alongside all the other Swifties making the trek to Swift's New Jersey tour stop using public transportation.

Swift's longtime pal Gomez brought her then-9-year-old little sister to a tour stop in Arlington, TX, on April 1, and both seemed to have the time of their lives. At one point, Swift even stopped to give her fedora to Teefey during a performance of "2022," per People, while Gomez was spotted wearing a cardigan from Swift's merch line.

Watson was spotted at Swift's first Las Vegas show on March 24.

Moretz also attended one Las Vegas stop, per one fan's Instagram Story.

A fan caught Stone dancing along to "Love Story" at her show in Arizona on March 17.

Dern — who had a cameo in Swift's "Bejeweled" video — shared a photo of herself beaming alongside the musician in Arizona on March 17. "Celebrating our amazing buddy's first show of tour. Extraordinary. Found family," the star wrote on Instagram.

After opening the first night of Swift's tour in Glendale, AZ, on March 17, the Paramore lead singer was spotted smiling alongside Stone in the audience.

The band, who appear on Swift's track "No Body, No Crime" and also starred in the "Bejeweled" music video, were spotted at the tour's opening night, per a video shared by People. Of course, they've been spotted at many shows since, as they opened for Swift at some of her July and August shows.

Pompeo took her daughter Sienna to see Swift in Las Vegas on March 24 and documented the occasion on her Instagram Stories.

Roberts was spotted dancing along to Swift's hit "Style" in a sheer dress and sunglasses in Las Vegas on March 24.

Antonoff, who produced "Midnights" and many other Swift projects, showed up to support her in Arlington, TX, on April 1. He documented the occasion with an Instagram Story captioned simply, "Holy sh*t."

The country star was also spotted in Las Vegas on March 25, and she shared a video of herself dancing to "Blank Space" on her Instagram Stories, per Billboard. "What a time," she captioned the clip.

Swift hasn't had many musical guests appear alongside her on the Eras Tour so far, but she was joined by the Mumford & Sons frontman on March 25 in Las Vegas. "Last night in Vegas Marcus Mumford showed up and surprised the crowd with 'Cowboy Like Me' so like 🤩🤯😝!" Swift wrote on Instagram. "Thank you to @marcusmumford and that glorious crowd. See you next weekend in Texas!"

Urban and Kidman attended Swift's Philadelphia tour stop on May 14, and documented their night on TikTok. "We had the BEST night!!!" Urban wrote on the video, which shows him dancing along with Kidman. "Your show is f*cking phenomenal, T. Big [love] from all of us," he continued.

In the comments, Urban added, "Shout out to Taylor, her team and ALL of the Swifties who showered us with sooooo many friendship bracelets."

The TikTok also caused a stir because none other than Swift's opener, Phoebe Bridgers, can be seen kissing Bo Burnham in the background. Rumors about the two have been swirling for a while; they were spotted at a comedy show shortly after Bridgers's relationship with Paul Mescal reportedly ended. But it seems Urban's TikTok may have accidentally proven those rumors right.

Witherspoon's oldest daughter joined her mom in Nashville on May 6, and she showed off her cowboy boots and sparkly pink corset top on Instagram. Swift's rumored new boyfriend was spotted dancing in the crowd during the May 5 show in Nashville. Then, on May 6, he joined his friend Phoebe Bridgers on stage to open the show prior to Swift coming out.

Hargitay attended Swift's Nashville show on May 6. She brought her daughter Amaya to the show, and the pair joined Reese Witherspoon and her daughter Ava Phillippe for an epic mother-daughter night out. Hargitay's appearance was extra special for fans because of the fact that Swift named one of her beloved cats, Olivia Benson, after Hargitay's "Law & Order SVU" character.
