Everything We Know About Hailee Steinfeld and Josh Allen's Low-Key Romance

Hailee Steinfeld and Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen have made their first public appearance as a couple, and it was very low-key. On Oct. 12, the duo attended the Buffalo Sabres season opener against the New York Rangers at Buffalo's KeyBank Center. Fans on social media shared photos and videos of the pair together at the NHL game in what seemed to be a suite.

Steinfeld, 26, and Allen, 27, have been romantically linked since May. While neither has officially confirmed their romance, the pair were spotted kissing over the Fourth of July weekend in photographs published by TMZ on July 7. The images showed Steinfeld and Allen packing on the PDA in a resort pool while vacationing together in Mexico. At the time, reps for Steinfeld did not respond to POPSUGAR's request for confirmation of her and Allen's relationship status, while Allen's reps could not be reached.

Allen opened up about how he feels about relationship speculation during an Aug. 2 interview on the podcast "Pardon My Take." "The fact that anybody cares about that still blows my mind," he said. He went on to say that photographers' efforts to capture photos of him and Steinfeld during their July vacation gave him a "gross feeling," creating a sense of "insecurity" for them.

Rumors that the Spider-Verse star and the football player were dating began after they were spotted together in New York City on multiple occasions on Memorial Day weekend. Steinfeld and Allen were first spotted in NYC on May 27, per photos obtained by People. Two days later, they were snapped again while out on what appeared to be a double date. According to a May 29 People report, a source close to Steinfeld said the "cute couple" had been "hanging out for a few weeks" and described the relationship as "new, but they are having fun."

In June, a source told People that the pair were "still dating and getting to know each other." "He's going to be very busy with training camp, though, so they're not putting too much pressure on things and will see where it goes," the insider added.

Allen seemingly split from Brittany Williams, his girlfriend of five years, sometime in 2023. In early May, Williams's friend Karlee Zacky captioned a photo of herself and Williams, "Now accepting husband applications @brittwilll," in a since-expired Instagram Story.

While Steinfeld tends to keep her romantic relationships close to the chest, she's previously been linked to Niall Horan and Cameron Smoller.
