Millie Bobby Brown Shows Off Her Sparkling Engagement Ring in a Plunging Lace Minidress

Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi announced their engagement simultaneously on their Instagram accounts on Tuesday, April 11, with a series of beachside photos. Bongiovi, 20, appears to have proposed to the "Stranger Things" star with a large round solitaire diamond ring surrounded by a halo, estimated to be anywhere from 3-3.5 carats for the center stone and valued between $50,000-$100,000, according to Olivia Landau, founder and CEO of fine jewelry brand The Clear Cut. While the pictures don't put her sparkler in the spotlight, Brown's band is thin, so the center stone definitely pops, and it was highlighted by her glazed-doughnut manicure, along with a pair of delicate pearl drop hoop earrings.

Brown sported a romantic white lace dress for the occasion, replete with ruffles at the wrists and an entirely open back. Florals of varying shapes and sizes were embroidered into the fabric, perhaps suggesting the type of wedding dress Brown may reach for in the future. Her brown bob was slicked back into a bun and parted at the center, and she finished her special look with a chain necklace. Meanwhile, Bongiovi complemented his fiancée's neutrals in a linen button-down and khaki chinos, accessorizing with a simple timepiece.

Brown's caption, "I've loved you three summers now, honey, I want 'em all 🤍," references Taylor Swift's song "Lover," which is assumed to be about Joe Alwyn, Swift's recently reported ex. Whether Brown meant to evoke nostalgia with the lyrics or was simply shedding light on one of the couple's favorite tracks, they certainly coincide with the emotion conveyed in her engagement photos.

Brown and Bongiovi recently took a preholiday tropical vacation, where Brown flaunted a white bikini and a kelly-green string two-piece with a ditsy daisy print and belly chain.
