Pedro Pascal has taken on so many iconic roles throughout his career. After appearing in long-running TV series like "Law & Order" and "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation," Pascal snagged his first breakthrough role in 2014 when he began portraying a prince named Oberyn Martell in "Game of Thrones." The following year, he made his debut as DEA agent Javier Peña in "Narcos." But that was only the beginning of Pascal's major TV projects because, in 2019, Pascal joined the Star Wars universe as bounty hunter Din Djarin in "The Mandalorian." Most recently, he's made a splash as Joel Miller in HBO's "The Last of Us."
Pascal has had just as many notable movie roles, too. The star actor brought the DC Comics villain Maxwell Lord to life in "Wonder Woman 1984" and has been a part of huge film franchises like "Kingsman" and "The Equalizer." After realizing he's being hunted by the remnants of the Galactic Empire due to his powers, the Mandalorian decides to take Grogu under his wing as his foundling and protect him. The series stars Pascal as the title character and features appearances from fan-favorite Star Wars characters like Boba Fett, Ahsoka, and Bo-Katan Kryze.
"Game of Thrones"
"Game of Thrones" ran on HBO for eight seasons from 2011 to 2019. It's based on George R.R. Martin's fantasy novel series A Song of Ice and Fire, which follows different noble families as they fight to take control of the fictional continent of Westeros. Pascal joined "GOT" in 2014 as Oberyn — a prince from House Martell. The character only appears in season four and ultimately comes to a particularly gruesome end while trying to avenge his sister's death, but Oberyn's mark on the series continues throughout its run.
"Narcos"
This 2015 Netflix crime drama centers around the cocaine trade in Colombia. The first and second seasons chronicle the rise and fall of the infamous drug lord Pablo Escobar, while the third season focuses on the Cali Cartel. Pascal plays a Drug Enforcement Administration agent named Javier Peña in the series.
"The Last of Us"
"The Last of Us" is a post-apocalyptic series that follows two survivors named Joel (Pascal) and Ellie (Bella Ramsey) as they make their way across the United States amid a global pandemic. The outbreak was caused by a fungal infection that turns its hosts into terrifying zombie-like creatures, so Joel and Ellie are met with constant danger on their trek as they try to avoid the infected. The show is based on the award-winning 2013 video game by Naughty Dog.
"Kingsman: The Golden Circle"
"Kingsman: The Golden Circle" is the second installment in the "Kingsman" film series, which is based on the comic book of the same name. In the sequel, Kingsman — a British private intelligence agency — teams up with their allies in the United States called Statesman to take down a common enemy: a drug cartel known as the Golden Circle. The film features the star-studded cast of Colin Firth, Taron Egerton, Mark Strong, Julianne Moore, Halle Berry, Pascal (who plays a member of Statesman named Agent Whiskey), Elton John, and Channing Tatum.

Pascal stars with Ethan Hawke in the western "Strange Way of Life," a short film about two cowboys who reunite to try to solve a crime.

"Wonder Woman 1984" follows an Amazon warrior named Diana Prince/Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) who reunites with her lost love, Steve Trevor (Chris Pine). The two work together to take down two villains: Barbara Minerva (Kristen Wiig), who started off as an ordinary geologist before transforming into the fearsome Cheetah, and Maxwell Lord (Pascal), a struggling businessman who gains control of the all-powerful Dreamstone. The film, which premiered in 2020, is the sequel to the 2017 movie "Wonder Woman."
"Law & Order: Criminal Intent"
Pascal has made several appearances throughout the "Law & Order" TV franchise over the years. In 2006, he made his debut in the "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" episode titled "Weeping Willow," which involved the kidnapping of a popular vlogger named Willow. Pascal portrayed one of her kidnappers named Reggie Luckman.

Their mission to steal a drug lord's fortune doesn't exactly go as planned, however, as they find themselves fighting to survive in the South American jungle. "If Beale Street Could Talk"
Set in Harlem in the 1970s, "If Beale Street Could Talk" tells the love story of a young black couple named Tish (KiKi Layne) and Fonny (Stephan James). After finding an apartment together, Fonny is wrongfully accused of sexual assault and sent to jail. The film follows Tish as she tries to clear Fonny's name before the birth of their baby. Pascal takes on the role of a man named Pietro Alvarez, who sets up a meeting between Tish and Fonny's acuser.
"The Bubble"
"The Bubble" is about a group of actors who isolate themselves inside a hotel to film a movie during the COVID-19 pandemic. As the days go by, the cast finds it harder and harder to stay sane inside their "bubble" as they long to rejoin the outside world. In "The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent," Nicolas Cage stars as a fictionalized version of himself named Nick Cage who is an actor struggling to find work. In order to make some money, Nick accepts a million-dollar offer to attend the birthday party of superfan Javi Gutierrez (Pascal), who's a billionaire playboy. After being contacted by two CIA agents who suspect Javi of kidnapping the daughter of a politician, Nick agrees to help uncover the truth about Javi while under the guise of writing a movie with him.
"We Can Be Heroes"
"We Can Be Heroes" is a follow-up to the 2005 movie "The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl in 3-D." The film focuses on a group of superheroes called the Heroics who are kidnapped by aliens, which forces their kids to work together in order to rescue them. Pascal plays Marcus Moreno, the leader of the Heroics who's a master swordsman and has a powerless daughter named Missy Moreno (YaYa Gosselin).
"The Great Wall"
"The Great Wall" is a 2016 monster film that explores the mystery behind the Great Wall of China. After two European mercenaries (Matt Damon and Pascal) are captured by the Chinese army while searching for gunpowder for the west, they discover the reason the Great Wall was built was to keep out alien monsters that attack every 60 years. When a new crop of monsters show up, the army is forced to team up with the mercenaries to take them down.
"Prospect"
"Prospect" is a sci-fi movie starring Jay Duplass and Sophie Thatcher as a father-daughter duo who travel to a distant alien moon in order to try and harvest its precious gems. While on their search, the pair run into danger when they realize they're not the only ones hunting for the treasure. They encounter two rival prospectors (Pascal and Luke Pitzrick), who, after trying to rob them, agree to team up and split the gems together.
