Starbucks's New Holiday Line Includes Iridescent Tumblers and Glittery Cold Cups
Is it cold in here, or is it just Starbucks's new holiday cups? On Oct. 17, the company announced its first round of seasonal drinkware, going a decidedly icy route with whimsical details and iridescent finishes. The series of designs started off strong with opalescent cold cups and straws made to look just like icicles (not to mention adorable matching ornaments). If the clear colorway wasn't enough, the same sparkly style also comes in a festive red, inspired by bright poinsettia petals.
Moving forward with the wintry theme, Starbucks also dropped a gorgeous geometric mug made out of shimmery rainbow glass. The prismatic design may look like ice, but don't worry, it'll still keep your coffee safe and warm. Tumblers also got a merry makeover, keeping the momentum going in vibrant shades of lime green, bubblegum pink, and icicle blue. The swirly texture reminds us of traditional ribbon candy, stirring up plenty of nostalgia. If you appreciate the candy aesthetic, make sure to check out the similarly sweet cold cups with candy-cane straws.
There's something for everyone in Starbucks's new collection, and the wide range of winter-inspired items is seemingly endless. Customers can give a more subtle nod to the season with sleek royal blue tumblers, baby pink mugs (inspired by peppermints, naturally), or gradient blue and gray water bottles. While the official holiday menu has yet to drop, this festive drinkware allows you to get ahead of the game and start enjoying the season early. Prices range from $13 to $28 and will be available to purchase soon in Starbucks stores across the US.
