Born in Henderson, Ky., Camron Blais Johnson played high school ball at Brentwood Academy in Tennessee where he lettered in football, basketball and track. He was a consensus four-star prospect and ESPN Top 300 prospect in football, leading the the team to three straight state Division II titles.
As a Junior at Vandy, Johnson was a member of the 2020 SEC Academic Honor Roll. He was sixth among SEC players in receptions and receptions/game and 13th in receiving yards/game; and ninth among SEC players in punt return yards.
Heading into 2021, Johnson was named preseason All-SEC at wide receiver by Athlon Sports, Phil Steele, and Pro Football Focus, as well as an All-SEC punt returner by Phil Steele.
Following the 2021 season, Johnson entered the NCAA transfer portal and shortly thereafter signed with the Arizona State Sun Devils.
